After breakfast, start from Basu and climb over [Anjiura Mountain pass] (4468 meters above sea level). Starting from Nyingchi after breakfast, we once again enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Niyang River along the way, and then we came to the "Linla Highway" known as "the most beautiful high-grade highway in Tibet", and then got off the highway from Bahe town, turned right about 50 kilometers, and came to the beautiful "Basong Tso". Basong Cuo, also known as "Cuo Gao Lake", is the largest quake lake in eastern Tibet. The shape of the lake is like a crescent moon inlaid in a deep valley. Day 9: Potala Palace - Jokhang Temple - Barkhor Street

After breakfast, we will visit the Potala Palace, which is located on the Maburi Mountain in the northwest of Lhasa. It is a magnificent building with the highest altitude in the world and a collection of palaces, castles and monasteries. It is also the largest and most complete ancient palace and fort complex in Tibet. Potala Palace built on the mountain, a total of 13 floors, 117.19 meters high, east and west more than 400 meters long, now we see the Potala Palace is divided into two parts: the White House and the Red Palace. Then go to the Jokhang Temple, located in the center of Lhasa's old town, the Jokhang Temple has a history of 1,350 years. It is the most splendid Tubo period architecture in Tibet. It was built in 647 AD and has 5 golden roofs and 108 Buddhist halls. The Tibetan people have a saying that "Jokhang Temple came before Lhasa City", and Jokhang Temple has a central position in Lhasa city, not only in geographical location, but also in social life level. The circle around the center of the Jokhang Temple is called the "Sac outline", the circle around the outside wall of the Jokhang Temple is called the "Eight outline", and the street radiating out of the Jokhang Temple is called "Barkhor Street", that is, Bajiao Street. With Jokhang Temple as the center, the Potala Palace, Yaowang Mountain, and Jokhang Temple are included in a large circle called "forest outline". These three rings, from inside to outside, are the route for the Tibetan compatriots to perform the Sutra turning ceremony.
